Description
Referred to be from the Song Dynasty. Carving is one of the most commonly used techniques in ancient Chinese ceramic decoration. Carved porcelain has a majestic and powerful pattern, with strong and powerful lines, giving a sense of rustic and unrestrained beauty. Carving involves using tools made of bamboo, wood, bone, or stone to carve away the blank layer outside the decoration to a certain depth on a semi-dry blank according to a pre-designed pattern.
