Description
After Gian Lorenzo Bernini (Italian, 1598-1680) a Grand Tour bronze reduction of the Triton Fountain in the Piazza Barberini (executed 1642-43), likely 19th century or later, depicting a triton mounted astride two shells, blowing his conch horn, the whole supported on four dolphins bearing the Barberini arms beneath the Papal tiara. 13.5" H x 7.25" D x 7.5" W.
